The ski run of Saint-Colomban des Villards itself offers plenty of peaceful space for quality skiing. During season torchlight skiing, competions, walking tours in ski footwear… are organised. Chaine de Belledonne, the mountain range near Saint-Colomban des Villards, is renowned with ski mountaineering lovers who find numerous opportunities to practice their sport. Annually the international competition La Sybelle Villarinche takes place in Saint-Colomban des Villards.
